Peninsula Hotel Manila ~ Born and raised in Manila

Peninsula Hotel Manila

The Peninsula Hotel in Manila was built in 1976. Prices range from $175-$330 for regular rooms and $320-$2500 for suites, depending on which wing you are staying in. There are two wings, the Ayala Tower and the Makati Tower. The Makati Tower has renovated rooms and suites. Once you arrive in the Philippines via your cheap Manila flight, The Peninsula Hotel Manila is only a twenty minute drive away from the airport. It has nice and spacious rooms, and a central location, very close to the Greenbelt shopping center and Ayala Center. The hotel is situated on the corner of Ayala and Makati Avenues. After undergoing extensive renovations, the Peninsula Manila has coined the phrase "Jewel in the Capital's Crown" when describing itself.

The Peninsula Hotel Manila features some of the city's best dining options. For those who stay up late partying or working, you can visit the 24 hour restaurant and bar service, The Lobby. It's flagship restaurant is Old Manila (which is known as one of the best eateries in the city). The Bar (cleverly named) is a quiet meeting place at the hotel, and there is also a Pool Snack Bar where you can eat and drink outside by the pool.

One last note to make about the hotel is the existence of a top notch spa and pool. You can pamper yourself with one of your packages. The massages are heavenly and you can get a nice workout in the gym and pool.

Though it may be pricey, the Manila Peninsula is a great option if you want to treat yourself to a luxury experience in one of the top Manila hotels. Or, if the prices are in your company's budget, this would make a great business hotel to stay in, either short term or long term.
